It’s all in the planning

Brentford Block D is a project that KBL undertook, involving landscaping and creating an outdoor area for the residents to enjoy. This project consisted of two podiums: upper and lower. The upper podium sat at an elevated position, approximately two stories high.

Since Brentford is located on the outskirts of London, we faced challenges with site parking, storage, and access. KBL overcame these issues by using a hiab lorry. We loaded the hiab at our headquarters in Monxton with all the plants and materials needed for the upcoming days. Subsequently, it was transported to Brentford, where it was unloaded onto the necessary podiums. This approach allowed us to complete the schedule of works without the need for on-site storage, which was not available.
